The game’s seventh anniversary update introduces the iconic Battle Royale map, brings back the Gulag, and changes how players move and fight.

Call of Duty: Mobile is celebrating its seventh anniversary with a major Battle Royale update. Season 10 — 7th Anniversary launches on November 11, bringing the iconic Verdansk map to mobile alongside gameplay changes, new events, and a fresh Battle Pass.

The update also introduces new content for DMZ: Recon, a collaboration with Ford Racing, and two Mythic Drops. But the biggest attraction is undoubtedly Verdansk, which arrives with more than 15 major points of interest and several familiar locations from the Call of Duty franchise.

Verdansk Arrives with the Return of the Gulag

The new map features locations such as Superstore, Airport, Dam, Downtown, Prison, and Stadium, offering different environments and opportunities for squad battles. Verdansk will also be available in DMZ: Recon, where players can face the new Chemist boss and take on a special Prison contract.

One of the most recognizable features from Warzone is making a comeback, too. Players eliminated for the first time in Verdansk will be sent to the Gulag, where they can fight for another chance to return to the match. Those who lose will need a teammate to purchase their redeployment at a Buy Station.

Players will also be able to explore the map through Create Your Truth, a limited-time narrative mode with infinite respawns. The experience introduces map locations and mechanics through objectives involving codes, intel, and NPCs.

Major Battle Royale Changes and Seventh Anniversary Rewards

Season 10 brings several gameplay adjustments to both major Battle Royale maps. These include new third-person animations, updated movement and airborne controls, and parachutes that can be deployed during a match instead of wingsuits. Players can also drag downed teammates while reviving them, adding another option for squad support.

The equipment system is changing as well. Scorestreaks will be renamed Field Assets, becoming rarer and available through Loadouts and Buy Stations. Perks will also be accessible through Loadout Drops and Buy Stations.

The anniversary celebrations include Operation: Verdansk Convergence, a faction-based event involving Makarov, Task Force 141, and the Observers. Players can complete objectives to unlock rewards, including the Ghost — Desert Ghost Operator Skin.

The new Battle Pass introduces the Signal 50 Sniper Rifle, designed for the long sightlines across Verdansk. Meanwhile, the Store will feature two Mythic Drops: Alias — Shattered Effigy and the Signal 50 — Exobotanica. Ford Racing also joins the season with vehicle-themed draws featuring the Ford Mustang GTD and F-150 Raptor, followed by a free event with more than 20 potential rewards.

Call of Duty: Mobile Season 10 — 7th Anniversary launches on November 11 at 4 PM PT.
