For the first time, you can play as the Lady Greyhounds, manage them as Ted and take over Nelson Road.
EA has announced a renewed partnership with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment that brings Ted Lasso and AFC Richmond back to EA SPORTS FC 27. The headline addition is AFC Richmond Women, who make their series debut as a playable team, with characters, locations and themed rewards across Career Mode, Football Ultimate Team and more. EA SPORTS FC 27 is available now on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.
Where You Can Play as the Lady Greyhounds
AFC Richmond Women are available through Women’s Rest of World and are playable in several modes:
- Kick Off: Take the pitch with the Women’s team in a quick match.
- Career: Lead the squad over multiple seasons.
- Online Seasons: Represent Richmond against other players.
- Nelson Road: The iconic Dog Track returns as an in-game stadium, so you can play and manage there.
⚽ Ready to join the Lady Greyhounds? Grab EA SPORTS FC 27 Standard Edition (Xbox Digital Code), redeem it on your console and take Richmond for a spin, no disc needed.
Manage the Team as Ted Lasso
In Manager Career Mode, you can take charge as Ted Lasso and manage AFC Richmond Women. EA says the mode gets deeper integration with the show’s personality:
- Social media stories that tie into the club’s journey
- Cutscenes and touchline interactions featuring Ted
- Themed Challenges for players who want to spend more time with Richmond
Richmond Rewards in Ultimate Team
Football Ultimate Team gets its own Ted Lasso content through Objectives, which reward players with:
- Themed kits
- Stadium cosmetics
- Manager items and other unlockables
These Objectives also count toward Season Progress, so they unlock additional objective-based rewards along the way. EA’s pitch, in the words of Jeff Sharma, VP of Brand at EA SPORTS FC, is that Ted Lasso and FC 27 share the belief that football is “better together.”
📺 Want to revisit Richmond before you play? Ted Lasso: The Complete Series on 4K UHD (Seasons 1-3) is a good way to get back into the spirit of the club.
