The relaxing model railway simulator brings its creative railway-building experience to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with career and sandbox modes.

Train Yard Builder is now available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Developed by Polish studio GameFormatic, the simulator lets players build their own model railway layouts and detailed dioramas, combining creative freedom with a relaxing gameplay experience. The game is also available on PC, with console versions prepared and released by Wildlands Interactive.

Build Your Own Railway World

In Train Yard Builder, players take on the role of a grandson who inherits a house once used by an experienced model railway enthusiast. From there, they can create miniature worlds, complete commissions, and gradually unlock new rooms and building elements.

The game offers two main ways to play:

• Career Mode: Complete missions and commissions involving painting, cleaning, building dioramas, and managing resources.
• Sandbox Mode: Create railway layouts freely, without the restrictions of missions or objectives.

Players can place tracks, bridges, viaducts, switches, and other railway elements, while also shaping terrain, creating rivers, and adding roads, buildings, benches, and lampposts.

Customize Your Trains and Test Your Creations

The simulator features a variety of trains and carriages that can be mixed, customized, and painted. Players can also fine-tune their landscapes and individual models before putting their creations to the test by running trains across their layouts.
